The Melt-to-Make® story is a journey born out of necessity, driven by innovation, and fueled by a desire to solve a common problem in the cannabis industry—producing top-notch gummies.
In 2018, Heritage Hemp, LLC was founded by Tim, along with partners Sarah and Jake, with a mission to revolutionize the hemp/CBD market. As they dove into creating a diverse range of CBD products, Sarah, a nutritionist and dietitian with a background in food manufacturing, suggested outsourcing gummy production since making gummies from scratch would be challenging and time consuming. Little did they know, this decision would lead them down a winding path of discovery.
Facing roadblocks in outsourcing due to industry regulations, Sarah and her team were forced to embark on a mission to crack the code of perfect gummy creation. Countless hours of research and development later, they emerged with a superior gummy formula and foolproof production methods.
Their success didn't go unnoticed. Other companies clamored for their gummy-making expertise, but the regulatory landscape posed challenges.
Enter a pivotal moment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tim's frustration with our sister company's gummy woes sparked a game-changing idea: why not create a base for them to customize?
And just like that, Melt-To-Make® Gummy Base was born. With dedication and ingenuity, Sarah's team crafted a formula designed for easy remelting, paving the way for a new era in gummy production.
